HM Revenue & Customs and major construction companies are working together to ensure that every company in the construction industry works on a level playing field.
A joint consultation exercise has resulted in the new CIS reforms, which come into force in April 2007.
Many small to medium construction companies do not have access to the legislation that impacts their business, nor the staff to manage the administration of the new scheme.
We help construction companies and workers to understand the legislation both on this website and also with consultations and seminars.
We liaise with the Revenue on behalf of companies and workers on the issue of employment status.
If workers are deemed to be employed, we offer a payroll bureau service and can manage the payment of wages under PAYE on behalf of any company.
If workers are genuinely self employed, we supply contracts that make the situation clear to all parties, or provide an intermediary service at a reasonable cost.
